Sanctum // Samhain Prints

Sanctum is an octennial art subscription inspired by the Wheel of the Year.

This edition of prints is inspired by Samhain, which marks the halfway point of autumn. Some consider it the New Year. Others consider it a time in which we honor our ancestors. It is a time of reflection, and memento mori .

These 8 5x5prints are printed on recycled archival paper using archival inkjet ink.

A sanctum is a sacred place.

My intention is that Sanctum

can be a part of your sacred place.

Blessed Autumn. Blessed Samhain.

This is a time of conclusions.

We partake in the crowning harvest.

Seeds scatter and form in the final fruit of the year.

Mushrooms rise from the underground, heavy with spores.

Geese fly south, following the air trails of their ancestors.

We remember all who came before us.

We face death, and give our thanks.
